“Enough is as good as a feast.” English Proverb
November invites us to pause. To notice the abundance already around us: the warmth of a kitchen, the laughter around the table, the aroma of a simple meal. These ordinary moments, full of presence, are the feast we often overlook. , p>
And yet, almost before we notice, the season pushes forward toward twinkling lights, shopping lists, Black Friday sales, and endless more. Gratitude, so fresh moments ago, can easily be swept into the rush.
What if we paused a little longer this Thanksgiving?
What if the warmth of the kitchen, the laughter around the table, and the shared presence of loved ones were enough?
What if we let enough be enough, letting these simple moments feel as rich and full as any banquet?
Enough asks only that we notice it.
The feast is already here, if only we pause to see it.
